Today we met a good friend for lunch in downtown Phoenix and at his suggestion we tried The Wild Thaiger. What a great suggestion Kenny! Located right on Central Ave just north of Durants the legendary Phoenix restaurant, This Wild Thaiger is a hidden gem!

We were greeted at the door by Guy Fieri, ok a signed poster of Guy Fieri. Triple D was just here two weeks ago featuring these awesome Dragon Eggz and one other dish. The show will be airing Sat April 28th on the Food Network. Record it!

We asked what we should try and without hesitation (and because Guy did) the Dragon Eggz where at the top of the list. These fantastic Dumplings are stuffed beyond the rim with pork and crab, served with tangy dipping sauce. I would recommend getting them booth fried and steamed as our server suggested. They were off the charts good! The main dish we had the pleasure of experiencing was the Shrimp Pad Thai (which I am a big Pad Thai fan). This was fantastic as well! The noodles were perfect, combined with the spouts, vegetables, shrimp and chopped peanuts, the dish was a cornucopia of flavors!
