Summertime is the perfect time to enjoy a fresh crisp brew. But for brew lovers that want to do more than just sip a good beer, Hundred Mile Brewing Company (HMBC) has just launched a new Brewing and Sensory Class featuring engaging education and instruction on how to brew beer. Led by HMBC Head Brewer Paul Alva, this class, with three summer dates from June through August, invites brew enthusiasts to tap into their inner brew master as they learn from a master and enjoy sampling too.
During the course, Alva, who attended the esteemed World Brewing Academy where he studied at Seibel Institute and Doemens Academy in Germany, will guide beer lovers, home brewers, beginners and beyond through the step-by-step process of brewing beer in a fun, interactive and educational format.
Attendees will feel the texture and take in the aromas of different hop varieties as well as taste various specialty malts while sampling some of Alva’s own hand-crafted beers. Throughout this sensory sampling experience, guests will also explore the range of flavors of various styles of beer while learning to identify the characteristics that make each beer unique.
This brewing and sampling class covers all the tips and information needed for guests to embark on a new hobby, up that beer knowledge game or simply indulge in a day of beer exploration
HMBC is offering three opportunities to enjoy this class — Sunday, June 25, Sunday, July 16 and Sunday, Aug. 27 Cost is $35 per session and includes the sampling of six HMBC beers along with light appetizers. To register visit: https://www.hundredmilebrewing.com/beer-education-101
