Catalyst Crafted Ales Introduces “Wizard Craft” Lager as Part of Spinato’s Pizzeria’s “Wizarding World of Za” Campaign

Catalyst Crafted Ale introduces “Wizard Craft,” a limited-release lager, in celebration of Spinato’s Pizzeria’s 50th anniversary “Wizarding World of Za” campaign. “Wizard Craft” is a 5.8% AVB hoppy lager that showcases a clean, crisp flavor and perfect balance that’s pure alchemy in a glass. Enchanted hops dance on your palate as you sip this pilsner-style lager that’s crafted with care and brewed with magic.

“Wizard Craft” is the third in a series of craft beers brewed specially for Spinato’s eight-month-long anniversary campaign, which was inspired by the creativity of “Harry Potter.” The magical lager was brewed to pair with Spinato’s “The Slytherwich Mixto Pizza,” a Cubano pizza featuring mustard aioli base, ham, pulled pork, mozzarella, house-made pickles, Swiss cheese and a house-made green mojo sauce.

“Wizard Craft” is available in a 16-ounce can for $8 at any of Spinato’s six locations throughout the Valley. The can features a design created by local artist Aaron Thomason. An illustrated wizard in a red wizard hat and white lab coat holding hops is set against a background of electric green snake coils.

“Wizard Craft” is being served only for a limited time from Sep. 1 through Oct. 31. It’s also available on tap in 16-ounce ($7), 12-ounce ($5) or 5-ounce ($5) pours at Catalyst’s tasting room, is located at 1845 E. Broadway Road in Tempe.

Spinato’s Ahwatukee location at 4848 E. Chandler Blvd. also will be carrying Catalyst’s Vesuvio Italian-style pilsner on tap.
