    LDV Winery Tasting Room Announces Spring Events Throughout MARCH

    Spring has sprung—or at least it feels like it! While it might not be officially spring yet, the season is around the corner and weather for sipping has arrived! So why raise a glass to early spring at the LDV Winery Tasting Room? With plenty of wine-centric events scheduled throughout March—including the spring equinox on March 20—there is always a reason to celebrate. Winemaker Saturdays Saturday, March 15 | 10 a.m.-noon This month, Winemaker and LDV Winery Co-founder Curt Dunham talks all things barrels, tanks and wine aging during this casual and engaging wine tasting and discussion. Enjoy sips and nibbles during the event. Admission is free for wine club members and $20 for non-members. Charcuterie Making Courses Tuesday, March 11 and Tuesday, March 25 | 6-7:30 p.m. During this interactive class, participants will create their own personal charcuterie board to take home or enjoy at the Tasting Room with a glass of their favorite LDV wine. The cost is $60++ per person, including charcuterie ingredients and tutorial from She Shed Chef Liza Noriega, plus a glass of LDV wine. Wine and Cheese Pairing Thursday, March 20 | 6 p.m. Celebrate the first day of spring with wine and cheese! During this event, guests will learn to pair wines with cheese. The cost is $45++ per person, which includes four wine samples and two cheeses. Peggy’s Birthday Celebration and Share and Pair Sundays Launch Sunday, March 23-May 25 Come into the Tasting Room and raise a glass in honor of LDV co-founder Peggy Fiandaca’s birthday, then celebrate the launch of Share and Pair Sundays—an event focused on wine, food, friends and spending quality time together. Wine specials will be available each Sunday from March 23 through May 25 (National Wine Day).     The LDV Winery Tasting Room is the place to be when it comes to wine and charcuterie! And throughout March and April, LDV Winery is presenting multiple Wine Charcuterie class opportunities.   Each fun and interactive course is led by the She Shed Chef, who will give participants the steps and tips to build their own beautiful and tasty charcuterie board. As guests build their boards, they can sip their favorite LDV wine.   The Wine Charcuterie Class schedule is as follows: Tuesday, March 11 Tuesday, March 25 Tuesday, April 15 Tuesday, April 29   These casual and entertaining classes are perfect for family and group gatherings, girls’ night out and any occasion!     City of Scottsdale Presents Free Movie Under the Stars MARCH 22

    Step up to the plate, Scottsdale! Spring Training season is almost here and with that, the city of Scottsdale is pleased to present a free movie under the stars event on Saturday, March 22. The event takes place at the East Bowl of the Scottsdale Civic Center, where a screening of the heartwarming film “Million Dollar Arm” will catch the hearts of residents and visitors alike.   Beginning at 6:30 p.m. that evening, guests can purchase light snacks and refreshments from onsite food trucks. The movie will begin at 7 p.m.   Open seating on the grass will be available and free parking abounds. This event is free and open to all ages.
