June Days returns to Old Town Scottsdale! This June, the city of Scottsdale presents its annual summer spectacular featuring a variety of events — from wine tastings and art exhibits to crafting workshops, live performances, fitness classes, family-friendly outings and more — celebrating all there is to see and do during the summertime. Activities kick off Saturday, June 1 and continue all month long.
“Scottsdale is not simply a tourist destination during the peak seasons; it’s a desirable year-round vacation spot and a beloved community where our residents live, work and play 365 days a year,” said Karen Churchard, director of tourism and events for the city of Scottsdale. “We love to celebrate all the vibrant things that make Scottsdale so unique for our residents and our visitors. June Days provides us an opportunity to partner with many local businesses to do just that.”
Throughout the month, June Days events include:
-Multiple paint and sip workshops at The Brush Bar
-Scottsdale Stadium tours hosted by the city of Scottsdale
-Special exhibitions, concerts and sound baths at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art
-Breakfasts at the Market beginning at 7 a.m. with delicious breakfast foods and live music
-Community Juneteenth Celebration featuring live entertainment, vendors, cultural exhibitions, family friendly activities, food trucks and more
-Book discussions with the authors at the Poisoned Pen
-“Stories & Sweets” presentations that reveal the often untold and lesser-known tales of Scottsdale’s history
