On Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025, the Scottsdale Gallery Association (SGA), presents its first Gold Palette ArtWalk of the New Year. “A new year is all about fresh beginnings, new starts, making resolutions and working toward improving and enhancing our lives.,” said SGA President Jinger Richardson. “This theme reflects these elements through each artist’s unique lens and we look forward to presenting the New Year, New Beginnings Gold Palette ArtWalk as a kickoff to 2025. We invite the community to join as we ring in the new year with incredible art and entertainment.”

Art enthusiasts are invited to drop in and meet featured artists Carol McDonald and Joel Stevenson during the event. McDonald calls herself an “intuitive idealist” drawn to abstract art, with no agenda. Her paintings incorporate her natural affinity for vibrant colors, dynamic, flowing movement and elements of light. Stevenson creates abstract oil works and wood sculptures. Inspired by the many twists and turns of everyday life, his works exhibit his vision of this energy, movement and beauty reflected in the dances through daily dilemmas.
The Marshall Gallery
7106 E. Main St.
The Marshall Gallery presents the dual show, “Shouts and Whispers: Man and Nature Pierce the Sky,” which provides art enthusiasts with the rare opportunity to experience the harmonious blend of two genres. A meet and greet with the two featured artists, BC Nowlin and Shari Lyon, will take place during the event. Nowlin brings depth and legacy to his new series, a striking departure from his past work that retains his signature style and story. Lyon brings her latest encaustic work, where her impressive facility with this most difficult medium is all the more worthy for its allure.
The Signature Gallery

During the ArtWalk, the gallery is pleased to host an enchanted evening of art, elegance and mythos as acclaimed artists Ron and Sheila Ruiz unveil their latest creation, the “Midas Touch” collection.
