Macayo’s Mexican Food 3rd Annual Chimi Challenge Championship is Just Days Away SEPT. 28

The clock is ticking and the countdown is on for the 3rd Annual Macayo’s Mexican Food Chimi Challenge Championship! On Saturday, Sept. 28 from 2-5 p.m. at Macayo’s Scottsdale location, qualifiers will chow down on a monstrous five-pound chimi in the hopes of being crowned the 2024 Chimi Champion!

Media are invited to see this event go down live and in action — or a mock version can be set up for preview television segments on site or in studio.

The Macayo’s Mexican Food Chimi Challenge Championship is the culmination of the nearly year-long challenge. The top contestant from each Macayo’s location and last year’s reigning champ will face off… and the 1st place winner will walk away with $2,000 in cash, plus prizes!

Celebrity Judge Suzette from 104.7 KISS FM will be in attendance and Macayo’s enthusiasts are encouraged to come and cheer on their favorite chimi challenger!
