Macayo’s Announces Back-to-School Book Drive Through JULY 31

Back to school is just around the corner, for those who aren’t back in class already!

In recognition of the importance of fostering a love of reading at an early age, Macayo’s Mexican Food is hosting a back-to-school book drive benefiting Southwest Human Development’s “Grow a Reader” program. This effort shines a spotlight on supporting literacy across the valley and inspires children to develop a love of reading and learning.

Donated books are now being collected at all Macayo’s locations through Wednesday, July 31. New or gently used books geared for children ages 12 and younger are greatly appreciated.
