1st Annual Cuervo Tradicional Taco Takeover and Cocktail Competition

Every Taco Tuesday, Cinco de Mayo, and beach vacation has led you to this moment. The 1st Annual Cuervo Tradicional Taco Takeover and Cocktail Competition brought to you by Cannonball Productions and Thrillist is coming to The Clayton House in Scottsdale (3719 N 75th Street) on Saturday, July 28th. Come hungry, because you’ll spend all day chowing down on the best tacos and Mexican-inspired dishes from 10+ of your favorite chefs. The best local bartenders will be on site serving up submissions to the Jose Cuervo Tradicional Cocktail Competition. It’s your job to sample them all and pick the winners, but since it’s an entire day dedicated to tacos and tequila, you basically win just by attending.

The Taco Takeover will also feature live music, games, tequila tasting stations. Guests can choose from two sessions at 3pm or 7pm over the course of the day. Early bird pricing begins at $39 for a limited time only and includes unlimited access to tacos, cocktails and beer. Early Access tickets start at $49 and VIP tickets start at $69, guaranteeing guests’ a half-hour early entry and access to a sweet lounge with an ever-flowing Cuervo Tradicional Paloma bar, churro station, and a queso fountain.

Cannonball Productions is committed to partnering with local non-profit organizations and food recovery programs in every host city. Leftover food from the event will be donated to homeless and hungry Phoenix residents through Forage Forward.
