Southern Specials Abound at Original Breakfast House throughout September - September 25, 2020

This September, guests of Original Breakfast House can get a taste of the south without ever leaving town with some delicious southern-inspired dishes available all month long.

Southern breakfast specials include:

Cajun Seafood Benedict — Two seafood cakes (with shrimp, crab, scallops and salmon), topped with two poached eggs and Cajun hollandaise; served with home fries or fresh fruit, $16.00

Shrimp and Grits — Large shrimp sauteed with peppers, tomato and bacon served atop OBH’s signature cheesy grits with a poached egg; served with house-made biscuit, $14.50

Smothered Pork Chops and Eggs — Two boneless loin chops grilled and simmered in a rich onion and mushroom gravy, $14.50

Stuffed French Toast — Filled with OBH’s strawberry cream cheese and topped with more fresh berries and a chocolate drizzle, $12.50

Southern-inspired mid-day meals include:

Croque Madame — Featuring grilled ham and Swiss cheese on sourdough bread with a smear of Dijon mustard covered in bechamel sauce and topped with an egg served sunny side up, $12.00

Cuban — Thin-sliced pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles and a swipe of mayo and mustard on a French roll grilled until crispy; served with Yucca fries and cilantro lime dipping sauce, $12.50
