    Phoenix City Grille and Garrison Brothers are pleased to co-host a five-course pairing dinner prepared by Phoenix City Grille Chef Micah Wyzlic with Garrison Brothers bourbon pairings in honor of the distillery’s release of the Garrison Brothers Cowboy 2020.

    Inspired by the world-class grains used in every single bottle, Chef Wyzlic’s custom menu is designed to pair perfectly with every sip. Bourbon Evangelist Henessey Garcia and Bourbon Provocateur Shane Merriam will be on hand to guide guests through each pairing, offering tips on the proper way to nose and taste fine bourbon. Menu includes:

     

    Welcome Cocktail — Phoenix City Grille Old Fashioned featuring Garrison Small Batch, Garrison Honeydew, Luxardos, Local Oranges and Garrison Aromatic Bitter’s Cotton Candy

     

    First Course — McClendon Select Baby Gem Salad with TexMalt Malted Barley, Candied Almonds, Sun-Kissed Apricots, Queen Creek Olive Mill Bourbon Barrel-Aged Balsamic, Cherry Blossom Shoyu & Burleson Honey Vinaigrette and Crow’s Dairy Feta paired with Garrison Brothers HoneyDew

     

    Second Course — Wild Gulf Shrimp with Garrison Corn Grits, Arizona Cholla Buds, Garrison Small Batch Caper Beurre Blanc and Pea Shoots paired with Garrison Brothers Small Batch

     

    Third Course — Spiced Duck Confit featuring Garrison Winter Wheat – Habanero Blini, Cherry-Rhubarb-Fennel Compote, Braised Red Cabbage, Watermelon Radish and Fennel Ferns complemented by Garrison Brothers Balmorhea

     

    Fourth Course — Garrison Barrel Char & Coffee Crusted Beef Tenderloin served with Caramelized Root Vegetable Hash, Rhiba Farms Oven-Roasted Oyster Mushrooms, Crispy Speck and Toasted Peppercorn Demi-Glace paired with Garrison Brothers 2020 Cowboy

     

    Fifth Course — Mexican Chocolate Torte with Roasted Banana Gelato, Pistachio Crumble, Peanut Butter Whiskey Salted Caramel Sauce and Prickly Pear Powder served with Arizona Whiskey Community “Huppour” Private Barrel
