For those that just can’t get enough of the beloved characters on “The Office,” Match Market & Bar is bringing the show to life… and putting in on a plate… with a fun “The Office” themed cocktail pairing dinner on Saturday, March 6. The five-course menu features “episodes” that diners can tune into including:

First Episode — Schrute Farms Beet Salad with Farm Boy Swill cocktail

“First rule in road-side beet sales: put the most attractive beets on top. The ones that make you pull the car over and go, ‘Wow, I need this beet right now.’ Those are the money beets.” -Dwight

Second Episode — Kevin’s Famous “Spilt” Beef Chili with The Deangelo Vickers cocktail

“At least once a year I like to bring in some of my Kevin’s Famous Chili. The trick is to undercook the onions. Everybody is going to get to know each other in the pot. I’m serious about this stuff. I’m up the night before, pressing garlic, and dicing whole tomatoes. I toast my own ancho chiles. It’s a recipe passed down from Malones for generations — it’s probably the thing I do best.”-Kevin

Third Episode — Kelly’s Cheese and Basil Samosas with F Train to Brooklyn cocktail
    Michael: “Oh, yuck.”
    Carol: “What? Too spicy?”
Michael: “No. These s’mores are disgusting.”
    Carol: “They’re not s’mores. They’re samosas.”
Michael: “Do you think they have any s’mores?”

Fourth Episode — Jan’s Dinner Party Beef Osso Buco with Pam and Jim’s Office Romance cocktail

Pam: “Oh, I- I can help, starting dinner if you need it.”

Jan: “Oh no, no, no, it’s just the Osso Buco needs to braise for about three hours. Everything else is done!”

Pam: “Three hours from now or three hours from earlier, like 4 o’clock?”

Jan: “You know, Pam, in Spain, they often don’t even start eating until midnight.”

Grand Finale — Creed’s Birthday Peach Cobbler with Michael Scott’s One of Everything cocktail

Creed: “Today is actually my birthday and I want to pick the cake.”

    Jim: “What do you want?”

Creed: “I want pie. I want peach pie.”

    Jim: “You want birthday pie?”

Creed: “I want a nice cobbler.”

Jim: “I’ll talk to Angela and we’re going to see what we can do about a pie.”

Creed: “I don’t care who you talk to you. Just make it happen.”

    Jim: “It’ll be Angela.”

Creed: “You tell her it’s for Creed. She’ll know what that means.”

Guests are encouraged to dress up for the theme and are asked to please wear a mask during the event. Match Market & Bar is ensuring the celebration is safe by adhering to COVID-19 guidelines and safety precautions including temperature checks upon arrival, hand sanitizing stations throughout the property and social distancing requirements.
