Native Grill & Wings Hosts Holmberg’s Handle the Heat Wing-Eating Contest Benefitting the Arizona Humane Society Now through SEPT. 4

Native Grill & Wings is pleased to partner with John Holmberg of 98.7 KUPD’s Holmberg’s Morning Sickness to present a wing-eating contest and special menu item benefitting the Arizona Humane Society.

Holmberg’s Handle the Heat event occurs over several weeks at different Native Grill & Wings locations around the valley. Two winners from each event will advance to the final championship, which will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 4.

The wing-eating contests take place from 5:30-7 p.m. on the following dates at these specific locations:

Wednesday, Aug. 14 — Signal Butte/Baseline

Wednesday, Aug. 21 — Greenfield/Baseline

Wednesday, Aug. 28 — Surprise/Marley Park

The finale will take place at the Gilbert/Germann location on Wednesday, Sept. 4. Prizes for preliminary winners include a $25 Native gift card, Stella-branded merchandise and radio station giveaways. The grand prize winner will receive $979.

Guests who don’t participate in the wing-eating contest can still get in on the excitement while supporting a good cause with the Holmberg Special! This limited-time-only menu item includes a 10-pack of wings and a Stella (either a bottle or 16-ounce draft) for just $19.79.

For every Holmberg Special sold, Native Grill & Wings will donate $1, up to $10,000, to the Arizona Humane Society. The Holmberg Special is available through Sunday, Sept. 8
