University of Arizona Eller College of Management Hosts “Better Together” Dialogue on Gender Equity February 19

On Tuesday, February 19 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., business professionals and community residents are invited to join the national discussion on gender equality in the workplace through a free networking and professional development
seminar presented by the Eller MBA and Eller Executive Education Program in partnership with Arizona HR Executive Forum.The event features a presentation by Diza Sauers, Director of the Business Communication Program at Eller College of Management, followed by a panel discussion with Joe Carella, Assistant Dean of Executive Education for Eller College of Management; Laura Lynn Smith, the Division Vice President and General Manager of OneADP Tempe; and Alessandra Soler, Executive Director of ACLU of Arizona.
In an effort to address and eliminate the gender gap, explore the power women can bring to organizations and present partnership opportunities with other women in business, the event will cover topics such as unseen barriers and unconscious bias, opening doors for one’s self and others, and revealing the power in alliances for change.
