April is Abuzz with Events at LDV Winery Tasting Room APRIL

Spring is practically made for sitting on the patio while enjoying good wine, good food and good friends. And the LDV Winery Tasting Room is just the place to do it!

Throughout the month of April, LDV Winery hosts a number of events designed to bring people together through wine and social sipping, including:

Share and Pair Sundays

Sunday through May 25 | All day

Come together to enjoy beautiful weather, a welcoming environment, wonderful wine, excellent food and even better company during Share and Pair Sundays. All about the social connectivity that wine provides, these casual gatherings feature wine specials each Sunday. In addition a special wine and appetizer pairing will be available April 6 (also ASU Sun Devil Alumni Sunday), April 25, May 4 (ASU Sun Devil Alumni Sunday) and May 25 (National Wine Day).

ASU Sun Devil Alumni Sundays

Sunday, April 6 | All day

LDV Winery owners Peggy Fiandaca and Curt Dunham are proud ASU alum! ASU Sun Devil Alumni Sundays, which kick off April 6, are designed to bring ASU alum together in celebration and support of the Sun Devils! This monthly event serves to help ASU activate the valley throughout baseball season and beyond. After all, the LDV Winery Tasting Room is just eight miles from ASU and a great place to enjoy a sip before or after a game! Guests that wear ASU Sun Devil merch or colors (maroon and gold) will receive happy hour pricing all day.

Charcuterie Making Courses

Tuesday, April 15 and Tuesday, April 29 | 6-7:30 p.m.

During this deliciously interactive class led by the She Shed Chef, Liza Noriega, guests can learn to create their own personal charcuterie board to take home or enjoy at the Tasting Room. The cost is $60++ per person, including charcuterie ingredients and tutorial and a glass of LDV wine.

Wine and Cheese Pairing Courses

Thursday, April 17 | 6 p.m.

Raise a glass to French cheese! During this event, guests will learn to pair wines with cheese through the art of taste. The cost is $45++ per person, and includes four wine and two cheese samplings.

Winemaker Saturdays

Saturday, April 19 | 10 a.m.-noon

During this engaging wine tasting experience and discussion, Winemaker and LDV Winery Co-founder Curt Dunham will enlighten guests as to how volcanic soils at the LDV Winery and Estate impact the flavors of their favorite LDV wines. Admission is free for wine club members and $20 for non-members, which includes sips and nibbles.
