Chula Seafood Announces Sweet Valentine’s Day Deals at All Valley Locations FEB. 13-15

    Love is in the air—and on the menu—at Chula Seafood! The restaurant is celebrating Valentine’s Day with some sweet specials at each of its three valley locations.

    Grayhawk

    The North Scottsdale location is featuring a dine-in prixe fix menu for two, which will be offered on Friday, Feb 14 and Saturday, Feb 15 from 11 a.m. to close. This special includes diners’ choice of one selection for each course:

    Starters
    Oysters, Grilled or Raw—Raw oysters are served with hibiscus ginger mignonette; grilled oysters are served with garlic herb butter and pancetta bread crumbs
    Clam Chowder
    Gem Lettuce Salad with bagna cauda, cured egg yolk, parmesan and fried smelt

    Entrees
    Grilled Swordfish with blackening spice, tomato crab butter, gremolata and grilled veg
    Chirashi served over sushi rice with mkt sashimi-tamago, ikura, kizami wasabi, shiso and wakame salad

    Dessert
    Chocolate flourless cake—Whipped banana peanut butter, peanut brittle, shaved dark chocolate and hazelnut crumble
    Affogato—Gelato, cold brew sorbet and hazelnut crumble

    The cost for this special is $110++. In addition, a Chilled Seafood Special will be available Thursday, Feb. 13 through Saturday, Feb. 15 for $75, which includes the following:

    -Lump Crab Cocktail
    -Poached Prawns with French cocktail sauce
    -Hamachi Crudo with winter citrus and olive oil
    -Half dozen oysters on the half shell with soy pickled veg

    -A 28g tin of caviar can be added for an additional $75

    -Champagne can be added for an additional charge.

    Rosie
    In honor of the holiday of love, Chula Seafood’s South Scottsdale location is serving up a Valentine’s Sushi Heart—a traditional sashimi platter with a “lovely” twist! This “sushi cake” features four ounces of Hamachi, salmon and ahi tuna on a bed of rice to share. The Valentine’s Sushi Heart is accompanied with pickled ginger, wasabi and Juan sauce and garnished with masago, furikake and green onion. The cost is $80++.

    Uptown
    Phoenix location diners can enjoy the following two-course Salad and Pasta feature, including:

    First Course: Salad of Little Gem and Radicchio with shaved asparagus, grapefruit segments, crumbled pistachio and shaved pecorino Romano served with a beet vinaigrette

    Second Course: Gnocchi with a creamy tarragon and basil pesto, broccoli and crispy speck. Guests have the option of scallops for $40 or Nordic halibut for $36.

    Diners can also add a Caviar Set for Two to their meal—including potato chips, house-made crème fraiche, chives, four ounces of tuna tartare (spooned tuna with crispy garlic, shallot, olive oil and white soy) and four crispy rice cakes—for an additional $100.

    All locations will be featuring fresh fish and seafood specials to cook up some Valentine’s romance including halibut, salmon, scallops, lobster tails, crab legs, caviar and other selections. In addition, DIY Sushi Kits, which include everything needed to get an at-home date night rolling, will be available for purchase as well.
