    On Friday, Aug. 23, Phoenix City Grille is pleased to present a four-course tasting menu featuring Russell’s Reserve Whiskey. The event begins at 6 p.m., upon which guests can raise a glass with the “Fig-Get About It” welcome cocktail, featuring Wild Turkey 101, fresh fig jam, honey simple syrup, fresh lemon and thyme. Dinner will then commence, featuring the following menu:

     

    First Course: McClendon Select Baby Gem Salad with shaved fennel, honey crisp apples, pickled celery, Meyer lemon and basil vinaigrette, crispy quinoa and Pecorino featuring Russell’s Single Barrel Rye Limited Release

     

    Second Course: Seared Sea Scallop with smoked local beets, pickled mustard “caviar” and horseradish crème fraiche featuring Russell’s Reserve 13 Year Limited Release

     

    Third Course: Braised Boneless Beef Short Rib with bourbon barrel-aged maple purple sweet potato, asparagus and piquillo relish and Dr. Pepper gastrique featuring Russell’s Reserve 15 Year Limited Release

     

    Fourth Course: Sweet Honey Biscuit with bourbon strawberry jam, macerated strawberries, lemon zest, Chantilly cream and strawberry balsamic reduction featuring PCG’s Private Label Russell’s Reserve Single Barrel
