On Monday, Jan. 8 at 6 p.m., Rusconi’s American Kitchen presents a one-of-a-kind pairing dinner featuring wines personally selected by Chef and Owner Michael Rusconi. Menu and pairings are as follows:
First Course — Baby Gem Lettuce with pomegranate, prosciutto, corn fritter and apple vinaigrette paired with 2021 Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay, Russian River
Second Course — Blue Crab and Gulf Shrimp Cannelloni with Michael’s Meyer lemon emulsion, shaved fennel and tiny herbs paired with 2021 Peju Sauvignon Blanc, Napa
Third Course — Blueberry Barbecued Natural Pork with crispy sweet potato, spaghetti squash and preserved apricot jus paired with 2021 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, Oregon
Fourth Course — Roasted Opal Valley Lamb with grilled vegetable relish and black olive and herbs paired with Silverado Merlot MT George Vineyard Coombsville, Napa
Fifth Course — Blood Orange Glazed Brie Cheesecake with blackberry coulis paired with 2020 Fleur De Mer, Cotes de Provence Rose
Cost is $95, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are recommended and are now being accepted. Guests can reserve seating online or by calling the restaurant at 480-483-0009.
