BGCMP Hosts Annual 21+ High-end Culinary Fundraiser on High Street in North Phoenix

WHAT: Dish It Out, one of the Valley’s premier culinary events, brings together more than 35 top-rated local restaurants, beer, wine and cocktails to give attendees great eats for a great cause. Ticket prices include all food and beverage. All proceeds are donated to BGCMP.

Join the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix (BGCMP) in its fight against childhood hunger at its annual Dish it Out culinary event on Sunday, October 20 from 5 to 8 p.m. at High Street in North Phoenix. BGCMP serves more than 10,000 K-12 member youth across the Valley in their premier after-school programs in 16 Clubs. Every year, the Clubs serve more than 330,000 healthy meals and 336,000 healthy snacks. The event is presented by Fry’s Food Stores and all of the proceeds from Dish it Out helps BGCMP provide these meals and programs to children in need.

This year marks a special year for BGCMP as it has expanded to into UMOM and as such have opened up two new clubs. In the five years Dish It Out has operated under this name, BGCMP has raised more than $1 million to provide after-school and summer programs in some of the Valley’s most deserving neighborhoods.

Dish It Out attendees will enjoy mouthwatering cuisine from more than 35 top-rated local restaurants such as Ocean Prime, Flemings, Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria, Fogo De Chao, Orange Sky, and Unbaked. Alcoholic beverages will include craft brews from Crescent Crown partners such as Ballast Point, Lagunitas and San Tan. Deep Eddy Vodka will be setting up camp in the VIP section offering tastings and cocktails in its tricked-out, fully-customized 1946 Spartan Trailer complete with a bar and lounge.

Local bands will play live music throughout the night. Mathew Blades and Pricilla Ornelas from iHeart Radio’s Mix 96.9 will host the event’s festivities. A special appearance from Lady La and her Mahalo Made food truck will be on scene as well. All proceeds from Dish it Out will directly benefit the deserving children who rely on the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix (BGCMP) for meals, safety, and opportunity.

This upscale event is for adults age 21 and older- IDs will be checked at the door and attire is dressy casual with a recommendation of shoes appropriate for walking. General Admission tickets are $75 a person and VIP tickets are $200. A VIP ticket includes early admission, preferred parking, and access to the exclusive VIP areas. VIP members are greeted with champagne upon arrival as well as exclusive access to premium restaurants, wines, spirits, and select beers.
